Are you looking for the best desserts in Saskatoon or Regina that worth your money? You will find the solution with our story.
"Let's make desserts that are not overly sweet and satisfying"
I love travelling the world, and during my journeys, I always make it to a point to visit delicious dessert shops. Over time, my standards for desserts became quite high.
When I moved here in Saskatchewan, I found that many desserts are unnecessarily sweet. I was always looking for good desserts, and my wife's baking, started coincidentally during the pandemic, changed our path.
"How can we make customers feel satisfied with their spending?"
This question guided us as we developed and refined our products. Our goal has always been to create desserts that leave customers fully satisfied. For example, while macarons, cookies, and cheesecakes are easily found elsewhere, we wanted to offer a unique taste. Especially with cookies, many available are excessively sweet, to the point of discomfort.
We put 30-70% less sugar than the recipes available online. The reason is to highlight the flavours of other ingredients.
We choose to use good-quality ingredients, even if they are more expensive. We believe that providing satisfaction to customers is crucial for long-term success.
(We can easily find cheaper substitutes, but we won't compromise quality over profit.)
Thanks to this approach, we've received wonderful Google reviews and many praises from customers. Most of the compliments focus on the taste of our products and our excellent customer service.
We always try to think from the customer's perspective, appreciating the time they take to visit our shop and considering how we can enhance their satisfaction.
(one of the best reviews in Saskatoon :))
We haven't invested much in marketing; thankfully, many customers have become our ambassadors, spreading the word to friends and family. We are truly grateful for the genuine support we've received.
To healthier desserts
So, we are moving on to the next step. Many of our customers' families seem to have concerns regarding desserts. Since we use less sugar, we receive many inquiries, especially for gluten-free and vegan products. To meet these expectations, we've decided to launch gluten-free, vegan, nut-free products, scheduled for release in February.
Even in challenging economic times or with emerging competitors, we believe that success comes from thinking from customers' perspective.
Despite immigrating to Canada and facing challenges in a new land, we are grateful for the love and support we've received.
Thank you for being a part of our community.
